Ikan Bakar

We went out for dinner last night. Looking for dinner in Malaysia? Easy.
There's food everywhere you look. ( reminding my self here, IT IS good to be home)
But of course, you have to pick and choose according to your fancy. This will depends on a number of things- the cleanliness, the crowds ( more people means food is good- most of the times anyway), the lights ( my personal opinion- colourfulfancy lights meant to distract you from the dirts on the floor), the waiter/waitresess ( i like them smiling haha) and etc.
Anyway, the theme last night was Ikan Bakar.

It was between Tok Bali and Machang ( they do have seafood apparently) but I put my feet down on the seaside view ie the former.
On arriving, more choices were to be made because the place have numerous restaurants serving seafood. We have dine here before, specifically at the restaurant across Tok Bali Bay.
Of course, we choose a different spot because I happen to like variety.

Err...WRONG move.

Pulut Ikan Bakar

Nasi Goreng Biasa

Mia-chan-

The verdict?
I gave it 1 out of 10 and the 1 was because I was being really nice.
The crabs were stale and undercooked, the fish was cooked without any marinate whatsoever-just plain salt and the Pulut Ikan Bakar is not worth talking about.
Proves that you should just stick with the one you knew. Being adventerous with food is not worth it if you're paying.
The bill came up to RM 88, which in any other restaurants would be reasonable but for this one, it's money down the drain.
Why so harsh comments?
Well, I did puke right after leaving the place ( I blame the crab) so as I said, it is money down the drain.
Thank God for no diarrhoea though

Woke up today, visited my facebook and found this:

As usual, I have forgotten our anniversary. Yikes!
Thanks for remembering Mr hubby. I hope you will remind me again next year and the years after.

Tried to find pictures of us together but this is the only one in my phone. #sigh**

Lamanya tak jumpe!!

Aduh..
It's been so long I can hardly remember the last time I wrote a post. Nak masuk raya haji dah ni and I think it was before Eid that I last wrote.
Well, not much had happen since then..except raya la, which was OK..hehe. Of course it was more than just OK. My first raya at home in a LONG time. I was reminded how HAPPENING raya can be..all thanks to my AWESOME family!!
Maybe I had to much fun I forgot to check-in here. Let's see.. First we went to Langkawi..and by 'we' I mean NINE people! All of us huddled up in a rent AVANZA mpv, sungguh mengeratkan silaturrahim gitu. I never knew Langkawi would be so much fun, otherwise I would have gone sooner.

Masa nak naik cable car:

The cable car for me is a must-do if you haven't get on one.
The ride takes about half an hour if you don't get off on the stops to take pictures, etc. We didn't. One because little mia-chan was sleeping on the way up and two because we have a man who's scared of heights in our group. He didn't utter a word the entire journey and of course didn't move an inch. I would like to emphasize here that the man is not my husband. Hehe
Anyway, please beware that the cable car is one of the main tourist attractions in Langkawi so do expect large number of crowds especially during school holidays.

Pantai Chenang:

I didn't think Pantai Chenang would be so happening! It almost felt like we were in Bali or any of those honeymoon places. Sadly we went there late afternoon the day before we left so didn't get to cover the whole beach..but check Pantai Chenang out! So many activities- massages, souvenir shops, ikan bakar and water sports here.

Dataran Helang:

Honestly, I only came here to take pictures. Heh.

What did we do with all those spare times?

Of course la shopping!
