just another day

it's a typical morning


had breakfast-nasi bungkus, finished 1 whole bungkus of course


mia-chan had woken up and now back to sleep again (fuhh..)


back to the companionship of laptop and coffee..and feeling somewhat sleepy (that's right..coffee does nothing to me; although sometimes can make me want to talk for hours and hours-if u know me..that's certainly not the norm)


so

i have been dreaming about SPEEDY for quite some time now (hubby would agree with this)


www.purseblog.com even posted something about why everyone should own a SPEEDY


nodded in agreement throughout the whole post

i don't know whether it's different in other parts of Malaysia, but where i live..


so many FAKES!!!


spotted everywhere...KB Mall, hospital, pasar malam...


GRRRR...

but look at them


so many different shapes, sizes, colours..


so BEAUTIFUL


i so NEED a handheld bag


SPEEDY is a classic. just like CHANEL FLAP BAG..they don't age. people wear them in the 70s and decades later those lucky ones still wear them (a few bucks poorer but proud)


LV created different variations of SPEEDY every season (didn't take too long for fakers to follow suit though)...ones with GRAFFITY, WATERCOLOUR, GOLD, the EPI leather one (cost more of course)...


but have to say nothing beats the original....i'm old-fashioned that way


my favourite part is the LOCK. GENIUS!!


not that it's particularly important. imagine locking and unlocking everytime u want to buy something..too much hassle


but the lock is what makes a SPEEDY..so for me, it is IMPORTANT


another point is u can wear it however u want


not a handheld bag type of person?


no worry


can buy a strap to sling carry it over your shoulder (cost £155..but hey who said LV is cheap?)


in my dream my SPEEDY has a LV BAG CHARM hooked to it..retails about £200. now THAT IS RIDICULOUS..who would pay such amount of money for such tiny weeny little thingy


i know...rich people, that's who


clearly not one of them. so will continue dreaming...tonight. now, need to study


study hard and become one of those people in POTRET KEJAYAAN. will arrange all my SPEEDIES behind me as they do the interview..now THAT'S a motivation...HAHA
